Our monoseal, stell caskets feature a one-piece top, formed from a single sheet of steel. This type of construction offers superior strength and seamless beauty. To insure a seal so that air and water cannot penetrate, the bottom is welded into each monoseal casket using a continuous weld aldong the entire seam. These caskets, though not made with the same material as our premium caskets, are crafted with the same quality and attention to detail as all Batesville caskets. Non-protective casketd are not designed by the manufacturer to resist the entrance of air, water or earth; however, they are sturdy, well constructed and attractive. Non-protected caskets can be constructed of metal, hardwood, or wood products covered with fabric. A variety of interior materials are used.
